7/2/14 Airport & Arrival to the Mexico MTC

Connor left for the airport at 3:30 am bright eyed and ready to go.  There were over 20 missionaries on his flight going to Dallas Texas, then onto MTCs all over South America.
A crazy thing happened at the airport.  An Elder with his family walked past us and Tom said I know that Elder's dad, I was a missionary companion with him in England. He walked over and asked him if his last name was Smith, the man nodded yes and Tom shook his hand and said Elder Smith, Elder Clay.  The man's mouth dropped open as he looked closer at Tom and then and aged Elder Smith talked for a long period of time as a flood of memories from over 30 years ago came rushing back.  His son was going to the Ecuador MTC but flew with Connor to Dallas.

Connor arrived in Mexico at 2:30 pm our time 1:30 Mexico time.  He was able to send us a short email saying he had arrived and giving us his address:

He will be at this address for 5 weeks.  He would love to receive letters from everyone!
